Responsible Energy – Regional and Renewable
The majority of our hotel's electricity comes directly from our own photovoltaic system – clean, emission-free, and powered by the sun.
But we also focus on consistent sustainability: We cover our additional energy needs with 100% green electricity from renewable sources and from the regional bio-district heating plant in Krimml.
This plant uses renewable biomass to generate heat and electricity and reliably supplies us with environmentally friendly energy from the region – CO₂-neutral and resource-efficient.
Enjoy regional products – with a clear conscience
We only serve the best from the region. We consciously rely on local and regional products, which are carefully selected and prepared with love
Whether fresh vegetables from the farmer next door, cheese from the alpine dairy or meat from species-appropriate husbandry – Our ingredients come from regional partner companies that we know personally and trust.
At our hotel, we rely on modern, eco-friendly technologies – which is why we operate our own photovoltaic system, covering a large part of our electricity needs with clean solar energy.
The solar panels on our hotel roof capture sunlight and convert it into electricity. A device called an inverter ensures that the generated power can be used directly for our hotel operations – for example, for lighting, cooling, or the wellness area. Excess electricity is either fed into the public grid or stored in our energy storage system for later use.
Because true comfort and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
We look forward to welcoming you – for a stay that is sustainable, relaxing, and future-focused.
For us, sustainability doesn’t stop at the hotel doors. We also care about eco-friendly travel and mobility options during your stay – and we warmly encourage the use of public transportation.
Good for the environment – and for your peace of mind.
Because sustainable travel starts with conscious choices – and we’re excited to walk that path together with you.
Taking Responsibility – Step by Step
Sustainability isn’t just a trend for us – it’s a core value that shapes everything we do. That’s why we’re continuously working to make our operations more environmentally friendly, resource-efficient, and socially responsible.
With the Austrian Ecolabel, we now carry an officially recognized certification that confirms our commitment to eco-conscious business practices and sustainable tourism.
